HAH! So it is true!!!

Call it Asian Blush, Asian Rage, or whatever you want, Mark Leyner and Billy Goldberg, M.D., authors of "Why Do Men Have Nipples?" and just recently "Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex?" have a simplified answer to the question: Why do Asians turn red after consuming alcohol?
There are two enzymes that break down alcohol and some Asians either lack or only have low levels of the second enzyme- aldehyde dehydrogenase 2. The unmetabolized acetaldehyde (alcohol after 1st enzyme) builds up and has some adverse side effects- skin flushing, increased heart rate, and severe nausea and vomiting.
See, so I'm not a lightweight, I'm enzyme deficient! ...i still suck...
