unexpected witticism

I just got schooled. by mom.
Last night I fell asleep on the couch while watching the Aristocrats (hilarious movie, however, do NOT attempt to watch with family or small children nearby). Apparently one of my ball bearings for my earring fell out while i was asleep on the couch. Like many things, once lost in the brown sectional, its a lost cause trying to save it; for example, pocket change, Herschell's ability to stay awake, Fr. MacDonald, and the like. So I guess we're going over to Hot Topic later to get more.
Anyways, Mom had just gotten up to help Jay up and after failing to explain the hilarity of the Aristocrats to her, I told Jay about my dilemma about my ball bearing:

Me: Jay, we need to head to the mall later today. Look, I'm missing one of my balls (pointing to my ear).

Mom: Did you mean up here or down there?

another day another comment based on displays of some sort.

I'm really glad that Fry's has those $200 computers. Apparently last weekend my comp was fried by a power surge and I had to replace a ton of crap. So, after a week of moving parts around and a long awaited disc (thx h) I have been spending the weekend uploading a ton of programs and moving files into a dedicated hard drive.
oh yeah. jay's tv is HUGE. only problem, when i play DDR on it theres a .5 second delay on the dance pad to the display. damn.
